Helen of Troy 1" Tangle-Free Hot Air Brush cuts off ?? -- 2010-07-21
My wife used this product for years and loved it, but recently it overheated and would not work until it cooled down. I found that it was easily fixed by removing excess hair which was clogging both ends of the unit preventing free air flow. Now it works like new and she is not cranky any more.

This hot air brush is not even worth 1 star. It is far from tangle free. If you want to keep your hair, don't buy this piece of junk.

I got this Helen of Troy hot air brush from my daughter's stylist in May 1996. It was a godsend for me as trying to use a roller brush and a hair dryer at the same time to style my hair severely challenged my dexterity. It is fast and handy. Now the darn thing has quit on me after only 118 months of use. Not bad for a $20 product, which is about the same price they are charging now. I found this site while hunting up a new one.

This hot air brush is a quick way to finish off my hair in the morning and works very well. It's sturdy and reliable. It's one of the few out there with a small barrel which is great for short hair.

I love this brush! Instead of having to hold a brush in one hand and a blow dryer in the other, I can do everything with one hand. Some people I know with thicker hair blow dry first (this brush isn't as powerful as some blow dryers) and then use this brush, but if you have fine hair like I do this will probably be all you need.
