WONDERFUL PRODUCT -- 2010-07-12
I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT JUST BEFORE I UNDERWENT HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY SO THAT IT WOULD BE AT MY BEDSIDE WHEN I CAME HOME.
IT WHEELS EASILY, GOES UP AND DOWN FOR EATING AND BEST YET, I HAVE ENOUGH ROOM ON THE TABLE TOP FOR MY LAPTOP COMPUTER, MOUSE AND MOUSE PAD, MEDICATIONS, TELEPHONE AND OTHER SUNDRY ITEMS.
I MAKE HAND CRAFTED TEDDY BEARS AND AFTER ITS INITIAL USE, I INTEND IT TO BE A WORKTABLE IN ANOTHER ROOM.
IT HAS GREAT VERSATILITY AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I got this for my 94 yr. old Dad. I got a laptop so he didn't have to sit at this desk to work/play on his computer. He can use this with his recliner since he needs to keep off his feet as much as possible. It is sturdy enough and in my price range.

I purchased this item based on the information provided on the Amazon site and other customer reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. There is a sticker on the table indicating a weight limit of 25 pounds - NOT 50 pounds as indicated on Amazon. (The written documentation delivered with the table also states a weight limit of 25 pounds.) This is a significant difference and an indicator about the second problem with the table... it wobbles! It is not secure or steady. Even with the screws and bolts tightened as far as possible... the table wobbles and shakes. I had planned on using it for my laptop but the weight of the laptop as well as the weight of my arms resting on the table would exceed the 25 pound limit.
Not worth the price... this table is no better than less expensive models. Mine went to Goodwill...
