After being hospitalized, when my mother-in-law returned home her doctor had ordered low flow oxygen for her 24/7. She balked at having to sleep with the canula and decided she 'didn't need the O2 over night'. After the pusle/ox arrived and she saw the readings the next few mornings she decided that sleeping with the O2 was not so bad after all. The unit works just fine. I like the auto turn-off feature. Took it to her last doctor's appointment the the readings were identical to the med staff's meter.

The Finger Pulse Oximeter is a very accurate and reliable device. I have compared this oximeter to the ones used in hospitals and the readings are pretty much the same. For its price, I find it to be a good value.

Good but Eats Batteries Like Candy -- 2010-02-06
I really like the ease of use and the accuracy, but even used only twice a day, it goes through batteries every week to 10 days. I have started removing batteries after each use which is a very big inconvenience.
Excellent quality, accurate oximeter -- 2010-02-06
This product shipped super fast. Checked it against my Doctors "Hospital grade" Oximeter worth hundreds more, same readings exactly. (Compared for 2-3 minutes) Would be five stars, but gave it four because it sometimes has to re-boot during a reading, and can take several seconds to do so. Comes with a clear rubber protective jacket, and a little Camera style travel case. Had it about two months now. I'm very satisfied so far.
