Customer Reviews Pulse/Oximeter -- 2010-08-23 I found the Pulseox 300c Pulse & Oximeter to be an excellent product. It gives you fast accurate readings for your pulse rate and oxygen level. After having heart surgery I had to keep a daily log of my pulse rate and oxygen level. This product made it a simple task. Just clip it on your finger tip and in less than a minute you have both reading displayed on an easy to read screen. Like most medical equipment it is a bit pricey. If you are in a situation where you need to measure your pulse and oxygen level daily, I'd recomend you consider this product. Pulseox 300c Pulse Oximeter, White
Pulse Ox Great -- 2010-08-17 This was a fantastic pulse oximeter. I like the fact that unlike others, you have to push the button to turn it on, so the batteries last longer. Since it was white, there was no mixing it up at the hospital with the other nurses.
Great reference for home -- 2010-08-15 I had a lung transplant and needed a way to keep track of my O2 saturation. Obviously I don't expect it to be as accurate as the pulseox they put on you at the hospital, but it's usually within the same range. This pulseox is an affordable way to have a peace of mind at home.
Great monitor, even for babies!! Can't say enough good things! -- 2010-08-11 I received the finger pulseox today, just in time (I have to return the tuffsat tomo at my son's post-op checkup) I compared the sats several times & they're right on target with his several hundred dollar hospital issued monitor. My son is 7 months old, and I used his index, middle, and ring fingers (or just the middle while he was sleeping, but while he was up & wiggling all 3 worked best) & it worked for me. You have to finagle a bit because the sensor is not much smaller than their little fingers so it has to be in the right spot but it beats the heck out of a $300+ infant monitor! Plus it's easy and portable, no coban, tape or wrapping, no wires & it fits in your pocket! I have to say again that it's the kind that clips on your finger, so I definitely wouldn't use it for overnight or other long-term monitoring on an infant, but to check sats anytime/anywhere gives great peace of mind. My son has congenital heart disease, and just had his second heart surgery. He needs daily oxygen saturation and weight monitoring, so when I found out my insurance was no longer covering the pulseox I was sick to think I had to drop a few hundred $$ on a new monitor! I was so happy to find this much more cost-efficient (and way more convenient) one here! I did also use the sat on myself and my son's grandmother, and it works great and very quickly on adults, no finagling necessary! =p
Well I'm just so excited that I found this, I hope my review helps someone else!
oximeter 300c -- 2010-08-02 works great. but oxi level seem to run a bit higher than drs meter.Pulse however is on the mark
