Product description
The Steady Strider is a lightweight orthosis that straps around the lower leg and extends down on the tongue of the shoe. Designed to support weak leg muscles, Steady Strider enhances walking in an ambulatory patient. Most orthoses for foot drop are cumbersome posterior braces that extend up the calf. Additionally, these orthoses have a plantar aspect that prevents the patient from having proper foot-floor feedback needed for normal balance when walking. The patented Steady Strider design features an anterior application to offer the patient increased comfort, less perceived disability, greater compliance, improved foot-floor feedback, quick application, comfortable fit in laced-up shoes. It also eliminates pressure on the bony portion that protrudes on each side of the ankle. The Steady Stride is useful for Foot Drop, Peripheral Neuropathy, Dorsiflexor Injury, Leg Muscle Disorders and Stroke Patients.
