Customer Reviews Great little device -- 2010-08-09 Terrific value. Purchased it to monitor visitors to my house at 9300 ft. altitude. So small and usable that I take it on high altitude hikes to monitor exertion rate and aspiration efficiency. Reconfigurable display provides flexibility for viewing while moving in any light. Note: altitude sickness is serious, and use of this device doesn't substitute for seeing a doctor if someone's feeling the ill at altitude.
Quite pleased with this oximter -- 2010-08-03 I purchased this oximeter after reading reviews of this and other oximeters. It seems to be quite accurate. We have tested my husband's oxygen levels at the doctor's office and at home and found the home oximeter readings to be very close to those at the doctor's office. The price is right, the quality is good. The digital readout is large, so we don't have any trouble reading the display. Overall, a great purchase, and one I would highly recommend to others.
Very accurate -- 2010-07-27 The MD300C2 is very accurate and easy to read. I compared readings with a 700 dollar professional unit and they were exactly the same. Why pay more.
An amazing find -- 2010-07-26 I am in a pulmunary therapy progam that involves cardio exercise to increase breathing and activity capability. The program began as a twice a week session of 90 min duration. The class went to three times a week in June which is more than my work schedule will allow. I now do the third day at home at a more convenient time. A major part of the program is monitoring the Blood Oxigen and Pulse rate to maximize the level of effort and effectiveness. When I started looking for the Pulse Oximeter I could not find in any of the local drug stores or medical supply places. I asked my therapist for some direction. She informed me that they are extremely expensive but had heard of some available on the web at more reasonable price. I checked 2 sites, one had the unit on sale for $34.50 but required a $50.00 minimum order. The other (the manufacturer ) had units from $38.00 and up. The one I selected was $59.00 plus shipping. I was ready to order when I did a final search on the web that led me to Amazon. The $37.40 price for the same unit got the order. I have used it for about a month now. It is fantastic. It matches on the numbers with the Hospital's several thousand dollar units has more features and is easier to read than the other portable units I have seen and as long as I keep it clean performs great.
BEST EVER BUY -- 2010-07-25 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter I HAVE COPD AND AM IN RE-HAB. I FELT IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO BE ABLE TO CHECK MY OWN BLOOD OXYGEN LEVEL. FOUND THIS ONE ON AMAZON FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE AND DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. I'VE CALIBRATED IT AGAINST THOSE AT RE-HAB AND MY DOCTORS OFFICE AND IT HAS BEEN RIGHT ON TARGET! MY BEST BUY EVER ON AMAZON!! SMALL, EASY TO TAKE WITH ME AND ONCE AGAIN VERY REASONABLY PRICED. (WAS TOLD THESE "NORMALLY" RAN $100)
