The Flexcare Steerable Knee Walker is a mobility aid for anyone who has suffered an injury below the knee. Place the knee of your injured leg on the knee plat- form and use your healthy leg to propel. Your injured leg should be centered and positioned to cover the full length of the knee platform. Always move slowly so that you can stop safely by putting your healthy foot on the ground. Brakes are conveniently located by the handlebars for easy stopping. The brake system on this device is similar to the one found on a bicycle. To brake, simply pull the lever with your fingers towards your body. When stopped on non-flat surfaces, always use caution and make sure that your healthy leg is firmly on the ground.
